Jim came to VES two and a half years ago and quickly made himself known to everyone. His individuality and persistence are truly admirable.
If these characteristics have not drawn him to everyone, then his running ability certainly has. In his first year of track, he was successful. He obtained 'number one' position in the mile. Since that time, in the mile and in cross-country, he has held first-place, keeping the school in 'number one' position.
Jim has many interesting and varying hobbies - from cycling and designing model airplanes, to sketching and mountain climbing. In everything Jim does, he excels. One can be certain that whether Jim goes to Columbia to study engineering, or back home to the university, he will be a stand-out.
