We come to Virginia EpiS<:opal School from many places, by many paths
and for myriad reasons - seeking what? Truth and knowledge, maybe;
but these words have little meaning to the bright-eyed, smooth-cheeked young man
who is arriving here for the first time.
Soon, however,
they become a permanent, meaningful part of his vocabutaJ:y. If a boy arrives
with the customary curiosity,
driven by the usual desire for new experiences,
~e will soon become involved: it cannot be avolded.
For there are opportunities for involvement eve,rywli.ere, through activities with school lifeL
thr.oll$h service with the community,
through relationShips with the country,
-and through travel with tbe world.
This book is the story of what we, the yearbook staff, feel is the reflection of the convergence
of student oplnion
co~rning their involvement: The V.E.S. Outlook.
