Moon Voyages Spark· Interest, Excitement
Through the media
of television and magazines
students at V.E.S. could become closely involved with the event of the decade, · the moon landing.
This event launched man into a new era,
and as Virginia Episcopal School entered the 1970's, students felt
that they too were a part of this forward movement. Neil Armstrong's "one small step"
represented a "giant leap for mankind"
because of the combined efforts
necessary for the achievement.
In the same way,
we at V.E.S. hope that through our combined efforts, the world of the future may be somewhat improved.
