The Religion Department consists of the Rev. Mr. Eade, the Rev. Mr. Hackett, Mr. Armstrong, Mr. Berry, and Mr. Garmey.
The Religion Department has set for itself several new goals this year. Concerning Chapel, every class day begins with community prayer with Holy Communion offered on Sunday to those who want to attend. The curriculum has been revised with the goal of giving every student a firm grounding in Biblical literature, and then to provide the means whereby understanding can be deepened. Courses are offered in contemporary Christian literature, philosophic theology, and Church History. By these means the third cornerstone of VES - the spiritual growth of us all - is nurtured.
