Fine Arts
Who says Charlie Triplett doesn't pay attention in Art class? (Below) The Community Chorus sings at the annual Christmas Chapel Service.
The 1982-83 school year looks to be very promising for Fine Arts at VES. A graduate of the University of Virginia, Peter Burke hopes to generate life into the Art Department by expanding the types of art usual- ly taught at VES. The school is also privileged to have a fine group of faculty performers, the Virginia Episcopal School Drama Association. Along with our talented faculty, we are again graced with a fantastic Glee Club. Already they have traveled to Charleston,
South Caroline, Richmond, Virginia, and Kentucky in the spring. In addition, many fine perform- ers have been lined up to visit the campus (such as Jack Nelson who portrays Mark Twain).
Tim Hellewell can't seem to get the rhythm in Music class.
Mark Twain, alive and well in the VES chapel.
