The momentum of athletics moved at a greater pace than it has for a long time. Nearly every team improved in some way. Football surprised many people with its impressive winning rec- ord. Basketball placed VES on the state level, and Women's Soccer proved that the girls do care about athletics, with their aggression and spirit. The athletes at VES pulled together to make our sports program more exciting and more enjoyable, as well as victorious.
