It was definitely a memorable sea- son for the Women's Field Hockey team. Record numbers turned out for early camp. The fun of camp continued through the entire sea- son, despite the 2-7-2 record which does not begin to reflect the tremendous effort of the team. Led by nine great seniors, espe- cially team captains Becca Wal- lace and Hunter Simpkins, there were many individual accomplish- ments. Among .the most noteable was the election of Hunter Simpkins and Bonnie Stewart to the LIS All-Star team. Next year's
team will be outstanding with re- turning players such as MVP Julia Jackson, Outstanding Defender Julie T akacs, and Spirit Award winner Boo Neal.
