The 1992 VES Cross Country team experienced a roller coaster ride of varied experiences that, in addition tc running familiar routes on Rivermont and beyond, in eluded biking on the Blue Ridge Parkway, ballet, run ning to Roanoke in the freezing, cold rain, watchilll videos of workouts and meets, and running 20 time& 400 meters. Leading the way as the numbers one, two and three runners were John Basten, Landon Booth. and Seymour Daffeh while Heyward Armstrong, WI!! Tyson, and Doug Finlay rounded out the top six.
