Bon Jour! This is just one word, from one of the languages that students can learn about at YES. With the three of the most popular languages in the world, Spanish, French and Latin, and some of the best teachers, students are able to broaden their horizons by studying the cultures and speech taught by the foreign language department. The department features many different learning experiences, such as trips to La Careta, to experience tacos, burritos and other Spanish foods, or a Mardi Gras celebration, complete with colorful beads and delicious king cakes. No matter what your learning style, the foreign language department is sure to fit your taste. Not only does the school offer local trips, but also a wide variety o f international trips are taken as well. Y ou climb the stairs to the top of the Eiffel Tower in France, or run with the bulls in Spain. And if you're a fan of pizza, take the trip to Italy and eat all the Italian food you can! The YES language department is full of cultural surprises, and the teachers here are willing to share them with the students any day ofthe wee~!
