First 1would like to thank my parents who enabled me to go to YES and have the experience of my lifetime. Only with their help and encouragement I was able to overcome the pain of leaving my home and friends behind for long and at the same time too short two years. Adjusting to the new environment and language was certainly not easy, and without the great support of the faculty and friends it would have probably taken a lot longer. I thank you Big Rfor putting in tremendous effort to teach me the essentials of English language and giving me support when I needed it the most. I would like to thank you Mrs. Farmer for being patient with a German student who tried hard to learn American History the AP way. Mr. Smith- I am not much of a historian but your European history AP class was a blast - very effective and amusing. Keep the good work up. Mrs. Berry - I will never forget the good times in your AP Calculus class, and I must say, I have never seen a person with the ability to solve complex problems at sonic speed. Mr. Height, every time I crossed your way, I walked away smiling. I enjoyed your presence and I would like to thank you for "kick starting" the creativity that I needed for my college essay. Mrs. Anderson - thanks for teaching me Spanish. I enjoyed the dynamic of your class. Mr. Dunks- thank you for being open minded and flexible. Special thanks to Mr. Hinker, whose English class I enjoyed the most throughout my senior year. I can look back at intense discussions over hot topics like the various circles of hell in Dantes Inferno. Junior year up in Pendleton is unforgettable. I will always remember the good times with Jan H., Ao Nick and Pollard. At this point, it would be unfair to not mention Chillseon huh, my ex roommate. He was responsible for constant amusement and laughter on a daily basis. Chilli - I am going to miss you. YES would not have been the full American experience without Nick. He convinced me that American music is more fulfilling than European Techno or as he called it "Eurotrash". In good and bad times he was always a true friend and a,good person to talk to. I will miss the deep discussions about various topics late at night.
Ben - thanks for your valuable support during hard times. I will always remember your generosity and your "laid back" way of looking of life. You are a true friend. John cummings- you are a cool dude and you pull the best jokes. Jett would have been boring without you. Jeremy and Freddy - Spring break was tons of fun! Pollard - What can I say? You are as random as the square root of 32764 but I still love you. Tiffany- Good times in AP Statistics until I deleted the Games off my PDA. JK, you are at least as awesome as John. Stelios, I doubt that Peter Pan could jump as high as you do. If I see you playing on TV, I'll shout "I KNOW THIS GUY".

First off, I want to thank my mom and dad for everything yall have done for me and for all your support and advice. I want to thank Hollis and Libba for always being there for me. I love yall so much! Libs, have fun during your last two years, they go by faster than you think. MaJY Margaret- you have been such a good friend these past two years. I will miss you!! Ashley W, Lallie, Chris, and Mary- hang in there; yall will be graduating before you know it. Francie, Celie, Susannah, and Hannah, yall have been so great and i will miss yall. JD, FP, SB, EJ, HH, HC, FW, AF, AK, WR, ST, MS, CG, HH, AS- you guys have made my time here unforgettable and I thank you for that. Penn and Morgan, after 13 years of school together we are finally going our separate ways. I will miss yall! Finally Reyn, you have been the best friend I could ever ask for. You have been there when I needed you and I don't think I can ever repay you for all that you have done for me. I wish you all the best at Alabama. I know you will be great wherever you are.
