First and foremost, I'd like to accredit most of my success in life to my family. Mom, Dad, Nana, Poppy, & Mamaw, thanks for playing such significant roles in my life. Brooke, I appreciate your unyielding love. Luke, you are far more than just a brother to me, you're my best friend.
Dr. Hadley & Mr. Sjolund, thanks for being so approachable. Leake, thanks for honing my political ideology in the RIGHT direction. Smith, Hincker, & Hopkins: thank you for better preparing me for Sewanee. Ouance, Rogers, and Lipford: thanks for being such laid·back neighbors. Coach Maught, you epitomize the earnest guy and southern gentleman I hope to one day become. Coach Windham, I am eternally grateful for the lessons you've taught me on and off the court Coach Stell, Mundy, & Sundheim: we've come along way and although our story didn't have the fairly· tell ending we wanted, we sure came damn close, and I'll always remember the memories we made and the distances we've traveled. Mr. Ross &Mr. Alexander, you two have always been there for me in my times of need, thank you.
Last, but certainly not least, I'd like to recognize the classmates who I've come to live with & love over the past four years. Starting on P·block: Tac, Barton, Newman, Nate, Jupe, & the rest of the crew. This past year on dorm has been the most enjoyable of my life. Wilson, Frampton, & Mitch: you guys will be life· long friends . To the young VES ladies who have provided me with tender loving in the past two years: Whit, Ash, HV, MH, MS, & MBC. Thanks for the self-esteem boost! Nick & Pollard: the late nights, the camaraderie, the laughs, & the D (can't forget the D) will always be remembered. Hardwick, thanks for being such a loyal friend & confidante. Whit, I don't know who is going to look out for you when I'm gone, but you'll do alright. Your like a sister to me, I love you. To the some other senior guys & gals that I truly will miss: JC,BB,WB,CV, AC,MA,FW,ED·V,WM,AF,PC,AK,SB,CG, &MM. The initials hardly do justice"for what you guys mean to me, thanks for being such devoted friends. Lastly, and perhaps most appropriately suited for my conclusion, I'd like to thank my fellow ninjas (Raggs, E.B., Free, &Jake) for eternally branding their arms
with me. While many may describe our gallant act as one of stupidity, I'd like to think of it as priceless souvenir, or a lifelong reminder symbolizing the friendships we built on Box Plaza, the blood, sweat, & tears we shed on the gridiron, the jokes we laughed at on dorm, and the countless road trips we set out upon in route to good times. For these are memories that we, the Class of 2005, will forever embrace, adore, and cherish. From the bottom of my heart, thank you YES, for being such a special place to learn, live, and grow; I am forever indebted.
