miss you, but I will be back.
Four years all blur into each other. One big mass of memories. From growing up on this campus and climbing the trees on box plaza to watching the old dining hall be transformed into a fancy new one. This campus is my home and has been for as long as I can remember. When I finally got to go here I was excited to get away from my old school to make new friends. I tried a lot of new things and overcame my horrible stage fright. From dancing in the chorus to swimming the moat, I became comfortable with myself. Remember to follow your gut when times get hard. Don't let others make you feel bad about yourself or like you're not worth it. Those people don't deserve you. For all four years I've had at least one new friend every year but the friends I've had for all four years have always been there for me and have had my back. Thank you Noell Cosby (best friend since 6th grade), Chris Childress, Christina Dietz, Florian Overfelt, James Scott, and Dominic Madden. I love you guys and we better not lose touch!
These three years have flown by, so first to all underclassman enjoy every second and doesn't wish for it to go by any faster than it already does. Everyday I am thankful that I came to VES, and these next statements barely begin to say goodbye.
• Mom and Dad~ First thank you for giving me the opportunity to go to VES and forcing me to stay those first few weeks. Words cannot describe by gratitude. But most of all thank you for shaping me into the person that I am
• Becca and AI~ It stinks I missed out on many of your awkward elementary and middle school moments, but coming here was well worth it. Enjoy your time here because this really is a special place.
• Meredith~ Thanks for countless hugs, talks, venting sessions, oh and money and snacks. Have fun these next two years without your big sis watching over you. Pretty soon it will be your turn.
• Mrs. Notario~ Thank you for being a fantastic advisor and giving me words of advice. Hope to see you in Chapel Hill next year. Go heels!
• Mr. Garmey~ Thanks for always being there for me and watching out for me. You truly have made my life here at VES better. I will be back to visit.
• Mr. Hanning~ Thanks for putting up with me and my strange pinkies for three years. You were an amazing coach, the reason I'm playing at UNC next year.
• Leake~ One day of your class but I survived three years of soccer, bowling for Barbie and the infamous tape ball. Give me some credit. Thanks for telling my Dad I'm a stripper and teaching me how not to play soccer. Love, Barbie.
• Dr. Knebel~ Thank you for not being crazy and obsessed with me like Ms. Swain but teaching me and making me love Biology even more.

• Maggie~ Bonfires. Bus buddies. Door slamming. Law and Order SVU marathons. Who wants peppermint ice cream? Basketball. Soccer. Need I say more, I'm so thankful that I got to meet you and become best friends. Thank god we will only be 30 min away next year because any more separation might kill me. I love you so much.
• Dana~ Hey bud. Thanks for being my first friend at ves. Chattanooga. Britton Parker not Benjamin. Head scratches. Naps before basketball. Criminal minds. Soccer buddies. I'm pretty sure you will survive next year without me. Maybe. Play basketball. (Thanks for writing your love letter to me) Come visit me lots. Finish strong. Knock out some more ceiling lights. Love ya kid!
• Merrill~ I'm so glad we were forced to go bowling. I don't know what I would do without my partner in crime and I couldn't have been on new dorm without you (dance parties, ordering, and snapchat wars) Thanks for never judging me ha. I love you so much. Have fun at Sewanee. Love, bad cop.
• Joe~ Thank you for always being there for me, even when I'm too stubborn to accept it.
Counselor Body~ We made it. Great job, and couldn't have asked for a better group to be in.
