Thank you Mom and Dad so much for sending me here, as I know my four years here have been the best experience I've ever had. Thank you so much for giving me this huge opportunity, and I can't thank you enough for your loving support, whether it be countless trips to Lynchburg, or spending 14-hour days at a wrestling tournament, not to mention filming and providing for the team. I really can't thank ya'll enough.
Thank you to my teachers, as ya'll have consistently challenged me to become a better student. Mr. Greene and Mr. Hanning, even though I must say I'm not a fan of the material, I'm glad I took your classes as I know they taught me how to work. Mr. Smith and Mr. Knebel, I truly loved your classes; and thank you for showing me P.G. Wodehouse, now my favorite author hands down. Mr. Button and Laf, thank you for both your classes, but also lacrosse as ya'll renewed my interest in the sport. Mr. Garmey, Mrs. Frazier, I'm not kidding, I really will go to France again when I'm older. Mrs. Grabeel, I never would've thought musicals could be so much fun.
Thank you to Win, Hunter, and Meg. It's easier to be successful when the road to success is synonymous with the well-beaten path, and I thank each one of you for your excellent example to me. It's a compliment when a teacher mistakes my name for one of yours.
Coach Jackson and Moose, I loved my time as a wrestler and I wish both of you the best in future seasons. Our team is truly lucky to have ya'll. Coach Jones, you're my only four year coach and I've appreciated being on the team with you. Shahady, Jennings, Alexander, football's been awesome, and state champs is the perfect way to go out. Higgy, never ever ever go inside. Biez, Meadows, Ronnie, Charles, glad to be ya'lls teammates. Cept when Charles is tackling me rather than the QB. Phil Head, I appreciate the hospitality this past year, best of luck in Scotland.
Chris, Flo, James S., Noell, Christina, Jenna, James B., Zach, David, and yeah Brant, you get a spot too, ya'll are some of the best friends I've ever had, and the past four years have been awesome with ya'll. R-day, gears and hot tub, wagon wheel, surfboard and color book pages, chemistry jokes at dances, wrestling feasts, full circle irony, Lindsey Stirling, still of the night, I'm a Christian, football analogies, nocturnal, convincing, the sweet 16, Dude..., hey I found this pizza guy outside the chapel, least I got a silver medal, boondocks saints, militia forming their 145, chillin at play rehearsal, and have you gotten taller? Pretty much sums it up.
I truly value each and every one of your friendships. Thank you.

Mom and Dad thanks for "forcing'' me to go to VES; it's the best thing that you've ever done for me. You guys are pretty freaking amazing, and I don't say that enough. You've been with me all the way from NCS, and I can't explain how supportive you've been. Dad's tiger noises and Mom's talks will always be something I look forward to. Carter, you've been an extraordinary big brother, so thanks for giving me such a great role model; I just wish everyone at VES could've gotten the chance to know you. Riley, sharing a room with you has been interesting to say the least, but I have to say that I miss it sometimes. You've been my best friend for a while, and I'll miss you. Oh, and take care of Lainey. Lainey, you already know it, but you'll love VES next year; make sure to spend as much time here as possible. I wish I could be there with you, but you've always got Riley. Enjoy it. Cory, thanks for being my advisor for three years, and supporting me. I missed you this year. Mr. Smith, thanks for putting up with my tardiness, teaching me that Lennon is not Marx, and getting me into ESU. I can't thank you enough for that. Ms. Csatlos, I couldn't have gotten into any college without you. Mr. Ross thanks for the endless encouragement. Mac, you're one of the funniest teachers I know, thanks for all the puns, dirty jokes, and t-room runs. Leake, thanks for all the cold afternoons in the pool. Laf, point being, it's been great hanging with you on dorm, and you inspired me to adore poetry. Mr. Button, thanks for being the man; you're someone that I'll always look up to. Mr. Knebel, your class was one of my favorites at VES. Dr. Knebel thanks for putting up with our distractions in AP bio and quiz bowl. You're one of the best teachers that I've ever had.
Peyton, you've become a best friend, and hopefully we'll see each other in college. Light the beacons. Jack, thanks for all the glorificient shenanigans, one day we'lltakeatriptoPlanetAbed. Minnie, thanksformakingthisoneofthebestyearsof my life. Charles, keep the list going. To everybody else on Wyatt, you've made my one year on dorm magnificent, thanks. Kelvin, I hardly knew you last year, and now you're one of my best friends. There's still tentacle juice on the futon, but our pillow talks were more than worth it. Lee & Wood, staying up late on dorm with you guys was some of the best nights I've ever had; you guys will always be my brothers. Nick, I feel like I've known you the whole year, and, luckily, we still have next year together. 2% Bellamilk, I'll never find another guy like you, enjoy Stanford. Court & Jenna, I can't wait for beach week.
Flo, I'm sorry for abusively pocket raping you, but we'll always have the handshake and the alternate timelines: SIX SEASONS AND A MOVIE!!! Maggie, I'll always remember you as my little 2nd grade best friend; thanks for adopting Hank. Clark, you've been my best friend since 8th grade: thanks for taking me in for all my weirdness, terrible double's play, bad puns, and never faltering through it all. I couldn't have asked for a better friend. To anyone I missed, you deserve to be in here, but space restricts me. VES has shaped me to who I am today; it's cliche, but true. Thank you all, and farewell.
