It is my privilege to report that during

Chair
As Cor Jesu settles in to a new
school year, I want to join
Sr. Barbara in thanking you
for your continued support of
Cor Jesu Academy. Each of you
has contributed in significant ways to
the success of our school, and please
know that your generosity does not
go unnoticed.
Cor Jesu’s core beliefs include providing
students with a Catholic Faith-based
Community, an Excellent Education, a
Caring Community, as well as teaching
the importance of Service to Others and
Personal Integrity. Your dedication to Cor
Jesu and Catholic education fits the bill
for each of these. And while our students
may not know all of you personally, they
are influenced by your example each day.
Your willingness to give monetarily
to Cor Jesu provides our students
the comfort of a Catholic Faith-based
Community. Your commitment to capital
projects provides the best facilities
for an Excellent Education. Your gifts
to the endowment show our students
firsthand what it means to be part of
a Caring Community and how Service
to Others can change lives. And your
participation and willingness to volunteer
at various CJ events shows our students
what it means to live with Personal
Integrity. For all of this, we thank you.
the 2018-2019 fiscal year, which ended
June 30, 2019, you gifted or pledged
more than $1.7 million to Cor Jesu. These
gifts support capital projects, programs,
the Endowment Fund, operations and
financial aid. Combined with the interest
earned from the $8.3 million Endowment
Fund, we are awarding $1.3 million in
financial assistance to 217 qualifying
students during this school year.
On behalf of the Advisory Council, thank
you for putting your trust in Cor Jesu’s
beliefs. We are humbled by your kindness
and grateful for your contributions. Your
impact allows us to educate our students
and give them confidence to take on life’s
challenges, while also assuring them that
their Cor Jesu family will always be here
as a source of support.

FROM OUR STUDENTS:
Although I don’t know you personally,
you have made a personal impact
on my life. Attending Cor Jesu has
changed my life for the better. I
have learned dedication, grit and
persistence through my years so
far, and although you can’t put a
price on that, the closest thing is this
scholarship. I am so grateful for this
opportunity that I know not everyone
has, and am so excited to put my
amazing education to good use.
Cor Jesu has molded me into the
person I am today, and I couldn’t
imagine myself anywhere else.
