On \Yedncsday night, November 24th, the Hop Committee gave its second dance of t11e year, in the Barksdale Gym- nasium. The Gymnasium was appropriately decorated with pumpkins, corn and autumn leaYes.
Thanksgiving Day a great many of the students went either to Charlottesville or to Roanoke for the football games. Those who didn't go were in part cousoled by a boundless repast consisting of the usual Thanksgiving delicacies.

November 27th, S. R. l\IcCulloch was here for the week- end.
