fact, the ~ccond period was merely a repetition of the first in regard to tho points scored, the only difference being that we made 12 points instea~ of 10. From start to finish the contest was ,·cry exciting and well worth being seen. The entire Freshmen team played in stellar fashion, but their vi<::tory was largely dne to the spleudid floor work of Via, and ::Monutcustle's accurate shooting. Lee's work was the most outstanding f1·om a Y. E. S. standpoint.

On Febn1ary 8th, in a game that will long be remembered as being the most exciting; the most tense, and the most thrill- ing that was ever seen in the Barksdale gymnasium, we o•ercame the crack Washington and Lee University Fresh- men quintet with a scant margin of but three points to our credit. The score was 33 to 30.
