Since the last issue of the Meteor a considerable number of the alumni ha\·e been with us. Our Carolina. representation dcscC'nded upon ns 100% strong on ThanJ;:sgiving Eve to at- tend our dance as a fitting preparation for the glories of the
following aftemoon at Charlottesville. It was indeed a pleasmo to welcome back Barber, Johnston, Linehan, Nash, Shipp, W. "'\\'. Swith and Whitaker. Bachman from DaYid- son and W. E. Johnson, and Loth from Virginia were among the other alumni at the dance.
llm·rison Echols, '19, was here for a short time on Decem- ber 3rd.
John llitchcock, '22, arri\'cd on the e\·c of the Christmas holidays in timo to lend his weighty presence to the famous protective measures enjoyed by the Counselor body on the night of December 20th.
Alumni visitors since the holidays ha>e included W. E. Jobnson, '20, Loth, '22, Richmond ::Uinor, '21, and R. E. :\IacB1ain, '19. :Mr. 1\IacBlain expects to graduate at Se- wanee in June~ and in the following autumn to commence his studies for the ministry.
Tom Canuthers, '20, was here a short time ago with the t"niversity of Virginia Freshmen basketball team, of which he is manager.
