BOYS QUINT IN HARD CHAMPIONSHIP DRIVE

The V. E. S. Boys' Basket-ball Team rolled up their fourth con- secutive victory on February 25th when they defeated the Park Athlet- ics by a 32-11 score at the Senior High School Gymnasium. If the Holy Cross five wins its next game, the Boys will play them for the championship of the City League.
Against the Park Athletics the V. E. S. team gained an early advan- tage, leading at half-time by a 17-6 score. The Garnet and White team continued its good teamwork in the second half, and had 21 points to spare at the end of the contest.
