As is the custom, The Meteor here-
with submits an all-opponent team. Dameron, L.E., one of St. Christo- pher's standout performers on John- son Field November 24th. He wa s
sharp on both offense and defense. Eshelmann, L.T., Woodberry's bul- wark in the line. He filled up holes beautifully and made more tackles
than any other player.
Combs, L.G., R.-M. A.'s sharpest
offensive blocker . He was always mixing his charges to smack runners for little gain.
Wilson, C., Woodberry's "Whin- er." An excellent line backer and a sure passer. He is the best "pepper- upper" faced all season.
Slaughter, R . G . , Woodberry's blond bombshell, probably the best lineman faced all season. He was immovable on defense and an excel- lent blocker on offense.
Perry, R.T., E. H. S.'s hard charg- ing, sure hitting tackle. He was a polished blocker on offense.
Peterson, R.E., Woodberry's best receiver and target for most of the
passes. On defense, he continually smacked opposing passers and nipped end runs in the bud.
Holloway, QB., F. M. S. Al- though he did not score_himself, he was the offensive punch throughout the whole game.
Chapman, H.B., St. Christopher's, Used only as a P. A. T. man until the closing minutes of the game, he proved to be a hard running back despite his broken jaw.
Rixey, H.B., St. Christopher's main threat all afternoon. He threaded needles with his passes and scored twice himself.
Davidson, F.B., shining l;ght of W oodberry's dream team. Three touchdowns and a nother called back against the Garnet and White is enough said. He is an excellent punter and a master of the end run.
