Upsets are numerous all over the
country; e. g., Rice 18, Texas 13; Tennessee 12, Alabama 0; Wake Forest 19, Tennessee 6; N: ~- State 13, Duke 6; Illinois 13, M1ch1gan 9; Princeton 17, Pennsylvania 14. A. gets closer to the Rose ~owl each week, while the Southwest IS a turmoil due to Rice's upset of Texas.
