The Bishops scored their second victory with a 45-39 win over Bedford High School. It was a hard fought contest throughout. The V. E. S. team's rebound work in the second half was the margin of victory. While Winston and Muse controlled the backboards, Davidson and Smith dumped in 13 and II points respec- tively. The games' scoring honors, however, went to Marshall of the

The first half was nip and tuck al the way as Woodberry left court with an 18-17 lead at the intermis- sion. During the second half the Tigers, led by Browne and Glassod pulled away from the listless Bishops. Browne and Davidson led in the seer·

A trip to Chatham proved fatal to
the Bishops as they absorbed a 77-48 loss at the hands of Hargrave Military Academy. The Cadets were held to a 26-21 half-time score by the scrap- py V. E. S. club who were playing without the services of injured Jim Winston.
In the second half H. M.A. put on a dazzling display of shooting ac- curacy with Shelton and Bailey hit- ting from all sides. The small fleet- footed Shelton led all scorers with 23 points. G. Smith led the Bishops with
