Feb. 24-Brant figures out if you can't go to see a qirl let her come to see you and "Bull" complies.
Feb. 25-"Rip" Deringer inquires politely of the "Gu"-"Where is my oatmeal or are you playing games?"
Feb. 26---Captain Jaeger and his anti-Hotellings raise hell with E. Ho- telling's bunk and are cordially in- vited to a 12:00 o'clock track meet by "Rock." Haynesworth showed good form in the sprints with much experience but dark horses Barrett and Paine press him hard.
Feb. 27-"Bull", "Meat Loaf" and McCurry come through with racking 85 or better averages and "Nuts" Lee as V.E.S.'s number one interior decorator.
Feb. 29-"Ye Goats" working hastily on last minute paddles stock up in liniment in readiness for . . . (The girls on the outside come through in the meantime as this is that extra day) .. .

Lowe, during "V Club" initiat:on, says he needs a "little red." The merciless "V Club" members meet this request with loud guffaws.

Lynn, haunted by a mysterious figure at night, is greatly rel1ev_ed to see that he jumps out +he wmdow when the lights are turned on.
Dr. Barton calls off St. Ann's ex- cursion because of weather, just be- fore boys step on bus. Two cars had already left; Watt's car was stopped at Amherst, but Lupton's car made it all the way. The four lucky ones were Hughes, Sutor, Mock and Lupton. They had 67 girls all to themselves.

The Old Astrologer
Crush, tinkle, tinkle.
"Whad waz thad I wonduh?" says the Old Astrologer thoughtfully blow- ing his brightly-colored nose. He slowly unfolds himself and sta lks into the outer observatory and finds a large hole in the glass roof and a frost covered baseball on the floor. It looks like some of the boys have started baseball practice a little early this year.
Remembering his long time duty of watching over the old 160 acres, he goes out on the balcony to gaze. He picks up his telescope and gives with a glance. Everything seems to have a brown haze around it. Upon trying to focus the ancient tube he finds that he has picked up a Bud- weiser bottle instead. After this lightning-like analysis he puts the snatch on the old tube and makes with the beady eye.
Jo-Jo is seen out on the front cam- pus flirting with a few of the ;'<:ai girls. Nobody knows what he said to them, but they left in a mighty big hurry after throwing gravel all over him.
"Mole" got two from Jo-Jo for the short snort that Jo did not appreci- ate.
The Lee's have a puppy now. Mrs. Lee says that the puppy's (name of Harry) puppy-like manners will not hurt the rug nearly as much as uns hundred and twelve boys. Wd 1king
