"Scotty" entered V.E.S. last fall after g raduating from Lower t-.brion High School on the Main Line in Phil- adelphia. Scott was very quickly hailed as one of the most popular and congenial boys on campus. Dur- ing the fall "Scotty" starred on the J. V. football team where he earned his letter. Varsity basketball also had a spot for the Pennsylvanian as he played at a cool and steady pace. He entered the V-club as a varsity letter-
man in basketball.
"Scotty" will attend the University
of Virginia next fall. "Scotty" is des- tined to go places with a strong will and a level head. We can have no doubts but that Scotty can easily handle any situation.
We'll miss his wit and his never changing pleasant disposition next year but we'll be glad to know and have him representing V. E. S. at

Edison attended the Medical Col- lege of Virginia last year but de- cided to come to V.E.S. to stock up on some math courses. Edison is a member of the senior class and of the newly formed glee club. He
is also a steady and reliable of the school choir. Next fall, Edison will again go to the Medical College of Virginia and pursue his Doctor of Pharmacy degree. We are sure he has what it takes to stick with medi- cine all the way and are confident he will.

This June will mark the end of Harold's two years at V. E. S. A mem- ber of the senior class, Harold is plan- ning to study pharmacy upon entering college next fall. Harold has made an immense number of friends while going here and his good nature is un- excelled. "Bill" is noted for his out- standing wit combined with sound common sense. "Lum" is a day stu- dent from Lynchburg and also one of the schools greatest advertising agents. He constantly expounds on the merits and glories of V. E. S. while working behind the counter of his father's drugstore. It will be a sad day for us when June comes and Harold leaves. We would like to take this chance to wish you the best of everything "Bill." W e will remain con- fident of your coming success next
year and those following.
