Richmonders Defeat V. E. S. Trackmen
Saint Christopher was too much for the Bishops in the weight division as they went on to defeat V. E. S. 58-50. First places were nearly even as 6 went to the Saints and 5 to the Bishops. It was the first meet for the Bishops and they carried away most of the honors on the track. Peirson was top man for the Bishops with 14 points, followed closely by Barlow with 13. Carrington, Frazier and Garland led the Saints with 10 points each.

The second match was with the U. Va. Junior Varsity and in that one Jimmie Davidson, the team's captain and number one man, came through with a win. Ned Baber also took o win over one of the boys from the University.
When the team journied to Wood- berry the unfamiliarity of the course and the experience of the W oodberry team proved too much and they loSt.
The final match of the season was a return match with the U. Va. Junior Varsity and this time Jim Barrett, who joined the team in the middle of the season, was a winner. tlarrett not only won his match but also found a good wristwatch on the golf course. In this match Lawson Pleasants gained a half with his opponent.
With every member of the team re- turning next year they should hove a very successful season.

The Golf Team
The V.E.S. golf team, although it did not win a match, had a very good season in that several members of the team won individual matches. This showed that the team had the talent and only needed experience.
The team played two matches each with W oodberry Forest and Univers- ity of Virginia Junior Varsity, two fine teams.
In the first match of the season, against W oodberry Forest, winning individual performances were turned in by Charlie McCormick and Brant
