Worm eeled onto the ole 160 three years ago and is now one of the most respected and best liked boys around. The only mark against him was one struck by a "lesser" student who knocked him from the top spot on the Honor Roll for the first time in two years. However, Worm put away the black crepe the following month when he again (for the zillionth time) attained his 98 average. Besides being a member of the Honor Committee, James gave a dazzling performance as the star
guard for the basketball team last year and played errorless ball for last year's State Championship base- ball team. To mention a few of Jim's minor achievements, we might add that he is Associate Editor of the Meteor, Secretary of the V-Ciub, and a member of the Hop Com- mittee. Needless to say, it is the wish of everyone that the "Raleigh Flash" will do as well in the years to come while at Duke and elsewhere.

This year rounds out Gibby's
lengthy tenure at V.E.S., and in his stay he has accomplished much. A counselor for the past three years, he was this year appointed to serve on the Honor Committee. Gibby has two letters in baseball and three in football to his credit, and will cer-
tainly repeat in these two sports this year. Gib is a hard worker and his friendliness and helpfulness have long been two of his outstanding virtues. We wish you all the luck in the world in college next year, Gib.
