THE JAY VEES
The "Boby Bishops" rolled to four sfroight wins before bowing to the tough Presbyterian Home team. In their first game against Appomattox t~e Bishops flattened them 27-0, showing a powerful running a t t a c k behind Woolery, Horton, Gillespie, Ross, Shanklin and McNulty. The Brookville final score was 33-0. In this gome the Bishop line play was sensa- +ionol. Moye, Atherholt, Hyer, Can- non, Royal, Bynum, Grimes, and Rol-
lins pushed the opponents around un- mercifully. The Bishops next ran into tough Lovingston. McNulty's score ond Gillespie's extra point pulled the gome out of the fire, 7-6.
The next week in commemoration of "National Mus Day," 135 pounds of tough muscle raced 80 yards for the only score; this, with Gillespie's extra point, gave the "Junior Bishops" o 7-6 win.
Against Presbyterian Home the Bishops held the Home for two and a half quarters before they managed to push over 2 touchdowns to de- feat the Bishops 14-0.
130 POUND TEAM
Under the direction of Mr. Fritz ond Mr. Lipp, we had a fairly success- ful seoson. The co-captains were Freddy Frayer and Lee Jenkins.
The guards are Thomas, Barnes, and Delagrange; the tackles are W ard, L a n g h o r n e , W a l k e r , a n d L e e . Th e ends are Scholl, Wells, and Harriss. In the bockfield are Barnes, Frayer, ond Rand at the halfbacks; at quarter- back are Pace, Childrey; and at full- back, Lee Jenkins.
After a tough game with the Pres- byterian Home which we lost 32-0 we won the second game against Bed- ford 6-0. At home and against Appo- mllttox we took the game by 12-0.
Against Appomattox at their field we received a 25-0 setback. The final gllme against Bedford also showed a 40-0 loss.
