John resides in the metropolis of Morganton, North Carolina in the winter. In the summer its hard to tell where you will find him. He makes good enough grades to have study out regularly, and yet has time to
take part in some of the school's finer activities, including the "Lodge" of which he is an active member.
A long with being the largest smoker of Camel cigarettes, he plays varsity horse shoes and ping pong. John says he is going to share the school horse shoe championship with his partner Harris this year.
"Moon" has been at V. E. S. for two unforgettable years now and dur- ing this period has earned the reputa- tion of one of the best-liked boys on campus. He is also well-known for his ever-ready wit. John will be missed very much when he leaves us for

Two yea rs ago marked Robert Tay- lor's introduction to V. E. S. Known better to most of his friends here as Spider, he sometimes answers to the call of "Zak." His personality has made him popular with everyone around the school. He went out for track his first year and this year he was a star guard on the J. V. foot- ball squad. He didn't repeat his track performance so he could spend more time on his studies. It is paying off too, because Spider has night study out and with senior subjects, that's a job well done.
Robert is also an active member of the J. V. Club and has survived many an unusual happening, o ne of which has been having "Jungle John" for a roommate.
This June marks the end of Robert's career here at V. E. S. Next fall Vir- ginia will be the fortunate college. A5 much as we hate to see Spider leave us, we are sure he will enjoy success at Virginia.
