The V. E. S. post-graduate pro- gram again appears to have made a successful choice. One of the three boys. in this expanded situation is Caldwell Cline. In less than three months, his outgoing nature has won him a popular place among the other veterans. Hailing from Char- lotte's Myers Park, he already pos- sesses the traits so common to the V. E. S. boys.
This winter he will play in t h e forward position on the basketball team. With his height, adaptness, and a bit of enthusiasm, Caldwell should be able to hold down a regular position. In the spring, he will either play baseball or high jump.

SENIOR PROFILES
After V. E. S. rubs off on Cald- well for a year (or vice-versa), he hopes to head on down to UNCCH rn order to study business administra- tion.
ROBERT BERGENSTAHLE BARCO
Four years ago Bobby came to V. E. S. shouting at the top of his voice to be heard by all. Seldom, if ever, have we ceased to hear his excited nature voicing an opinion on some phase of life here; Bobby has let his opinions be known by all. Per- haps this is the God-granted right of "the king of the surfers."
In his years here, he has partici- pated in freshman, J.V., and varsity football, fencing, and track. Bobby's quick wit and keen ideas have aided him in his work on the Meteor and VESTIGE staffs; and he has been a great efficiency booster to both of these organizations. He has also
been an acolyte in chapel and stage manager of the Drama Society.
Next fall Bobby hopes to atteno either Hobart College or Hampden- Sydney.
