Pembroke and Jacquelin Na sh live at 310 E. Church, Tarboro, N. C. Pem is an executive in the Edgecome Homestead & Loan Association. Their son, Brent, graduated with the class of '55 at V.E.S. and they have three daughters, who are grown and gone. Pem received his A.B. degree from U.N.C. in 1926.
Edmund Pendleton is Vice-Presi- dent of the Pendleton Construction Corp. in Wytheville, Va. He and Amelia live at 675 W. Main Street. They have three boys, Ed. Jr., John and Frank and one daughter, Cath- erine.
Conway Howard Sheild, Jr. is the Judge of the Hustings Court for the city of Newport News, Va. He re- ceived his B.A. degree from William and Mary in 1926 and attended U. Va. Law School. We are indeed thankful for Connie's speedy recov- ery .from the horrible automobile accident he was in in the early fall. He and Susie live at 262 James River Drive. Their only son, Conway, Ill graduated from V.E.S. in 1960 and will receive a degree from W. and L. in June. The twins, Letty and Betty are married and also their old- est daughter, Catherine. Connie is presently serving on the V.E.S. Board of Trustees.
Kenan and Mattie Smith live at 323 S. 2nd Ave., Siler City, N. C. Kenan is an Engineer with the North Carolina Highway Commission. He attended V.M.I. and U.N.C. They have one son, Kenan, Jr. and one daughter, Mildred.
George W. and Evelyn Darst live at 2023 Clark Avenue, Raleigh, N. C. George is night auditor at the Velvet Cloak Inn, 1505 Hillsboro Street. Evelyn is a Registered Nurse -in- charge at Rex Hospital. They have no children.

Manager of the Consumers Credit Dept., First National Bank in Fair- mont, W .V a. The Consumers Credit Department was designed to finance
the time sales of automobiles, trucks, household appliances, etc. It has grown steadily through the years and a great deal of the success has been attributed to Bill's experience and ability. He and Mary live at 3 Jo Harry Road. They have one son, Lorenzo, Ill and three daughters, Eleanor, Mary and Ann. He attended West Virginia University and Fair- mont State College.
John Southall and Mary Hunter Dunn live a t 2705 Valley Drive, Alexandria, Va. John is marketing Supervisor for C & P Telephone Com- pany. They have two daughters, Mrs. J a m e s H. Bell a n d Mrs. A u s t i n H. Morgan and there are two little Bells and three little Morgans. John says he is spending much time hunting and fishing.

Street, New Orleans 15, La. Dick is Secretary-Treasurer of C a r y B. Gamble and Associates, Consulting Engineers, 635 Commercial Place. After the war with rank of Lt. Comdr., Dick went to New Orleans and became associated with his brother in the Company named above. When his brother died, Dick purchased the business. He is Presi- dent of Stanton Manor, a Senior Citizen Hotel. He and Corinne have no children.
Francis Eugene Houghton retired from the regular army in 1961 with the rank of Colonel. He couldn't stand being idle so he is now teach- ing history at the Robert Louis Stevenson School, a preparatory school for boys in Pebble Beach, California. Gene received his A.B. degree from George Washington University in 1937. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have one son, Robert, and one daughter, Elizabeth Ann and nine grandchildren. Gene and Elizabeth enjoy living on Monterey Peninsu la, surrounded by several fabulous golf courses including the famed Pebble Beach.
John Henry and Eleanor Walker Maclin, Ill, live at 2059 Woodland Road, Petersburg, Va. They have two boys, John Henry, IV, and Stuart Walker and also a daughter, Frances. It is about time for you to make a move toward sending John to V.E.S. John is President of Dominion Chem- ical Co., and retired Vice-President of John H. Maclin Peanut Company. Bring your family to visit the school.
Wyndham Boiling Robertson and Lelia Lee live a t 4326 N. Fairfax Drive, Arlington 3, Va. Windy is Supervisor of Union Trust Company in Washington, D. C. They have two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Farrar and Mrs. Preston Mayo. You have not been here for a long time.

There is also a granddaughter, Elizabeth Logan Har- ris. Harry is in Who's Who in En· gineering, Captain USNR Retired, member of St. Paul's Vestry and past President of the Rotary Club. He has recently been promoted to the presidency of the C. B. Fleet Com- pany, Inc.

Bledsoe C. Pinkerton is a bachelor and lives at 246 East 46th Street New York 17, N. Y. He is Manager of the Corporate Department of J. C. Bradford and Co., Investment Banking, 44 Wall Street, New York. He received B.S. degree at the U. Va. in 1928. He spent four years in the Air Force as Captain. Other- wise he has been on Wall Street all these years. H is hobby is cruising the Chesapeake Bay and Long Island Sound in an auxiliary yawl (whatever that is). Sometime, cruise down the Bay and up the James River and pay us a visit.
