Caldwell Cline came to us from the "Land of the Mus- tangs," Myres Park, in Charlotte, North Carolina. (He was one of three postgraduate students to enter VES in the '64- '65 year.) Caldwell came here because he felt he would have a better foundation before entering The University of North Carolina. He chose to come here, too, because here he could play basketball, something he was unable to do at Myres Park because of an operation which had forced him into retirement.
He has done exceptional work at VES, and he has made his presence felt on the basketball floor, with his scoring and re-bounding. His other interests range from music to toiletries.
Because of his character and good nature and friendli- ness, he has come to be thought of as an 'old-timer.' At Caro- lina, he is certain of success.
