Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Rich has spent the last de- cade in upper Carolina. This atmosphere has combined with an innate sense of humility to form a true southern gentle- man. Although such a specie is not rare at VES, Rich has proven a standout.
Rich came here four years ago, only to be accepted by all
who knew him. Under the influence of Lunsford Long, Rich I soon learned the ropes. He was also quickly accepted by the social clique of 'Lynchburg lovelies'. In signing-out for town, Rich has often been known to request "passion per- mission."
Extra-curricular-wise, Rich has excelled in his years at VES. He has been soccer letterman, an ardent tennis player, and a golfer. He has written articles for the Meteor, and he is presently seeking a publisher for his most recent short story, "The Fall that Fell after the Fall." Rich has also , helped in the iron-hand rule of third-floor Pendleton.
Rich plans to attend The University of the South at Chapel Hill. After that - law, or business administration.
