The Aurora Flash came to VES from the coastal section of the Tar-Heel State, five years ago. Athletically, he has done almost everything - football, cross-country, basketball, and track. He has earned Varsity letters in three sports, and he has been captain of track for three years, he was captain of cross-country for a year. In his senior year, he was elected president of the Monogram Club.
George has been junior and senior warden for the Student Vestry, and he has been a member of the Hop Committee. He has also served on the Meteor and Vestige staffs.
It seems to always be snowing around this boy. He has gained a reputation for his literary astuteness, for his sick-humor puns, and for the number of women he can tuck under two arms at the same time.
After VES, George would like to study law at The Univer- sity of North Carolina.
