Since Barney came to VES four years ago, he has dis- tinguished himself among his fellow students by his abun- dance of wit and by his good-naturedness.
Being a day-boy has not kept Barney from participating actively in many facets of school life. He earned his Var- sity letter in football this year. Starting with the Baby Bishops, he worked up into Varsity football in his senior year. For two years he has played a major role on the soccer squad.
In addition to having exhibited fine school spirit in athletic activities, Barney has been a member of the Meteor and Vestige staffs, and he has distinguished himself academically.
' Barney hopes to attend either The University of Virginia, or Hampden-Sydney next fall
