GEORGS EVERETT SNIDER, JR.
BLUEFIELD,
W .
V A.
One of the Old Guard, George first put on a coat and tie five years ago. Soon VES won his heart and he forsook Blue- field for Lynchburg. He remained behind the scenes his first year, but partly because of a large inheritance, he quickly made friends with both the students and the faculty. Encouraged by his success at school, Smooth quickly extended his scope to include the fair ladies of the town.
In his stay at VES, George has done much to distinguish himself. He has played freshman football, run cross-country, and he was a regular in the GAA until Devon left. Last year, as a stalwart on the young soccer squad, he won a Varsity letter, and he was back on the field again this year.
In the academic realm George has remained in the upper- third of the class, and he has done consistently well in all his courses. Somehow he still found time to be a lay reader, and because of his tremendous preformance in last year's play, he was elected an officer of the drama society.
George is best known for his warm personality and vib- rant sense of humor. He is destined for success at Washington and Lee or at Hampden-Sydney next year.
