Fredrick Hyde Walsh III, universally known as Freddy, came to VES five and one-half years ago, giving him a full half-year more than his nearest contender for the title of Longest Here.
During his lengthy career, he has managed football, he has co-captained fencing, and he has been mail boy for two years. Fred has wired everything from stage lights to illicit record players. New boys have learned early to come to Freddy when they have needed anything-from medicine to repair work.
With the aid of his easy-going nature and his superior brain power, Fred is certain to go far, at Hampden-Sydney, and beyond.
