Bobby is one of the select few who have the privilege to be known as Townies. Since he attended his first class five years ago, Bobby has gained the friendship and admiration of everyone, and he has contributed actively to the life of the school.
On the athletic side, Bobby has been outstanding. Coming up through the rank and file of the football teams, for the past three years he has been a starter for the Varsity team. Last season he was elected Co-Captain of the team, and he began to pick up the rest of the honors: the Peyerle Trophy for the most valuable player of the Home Coming game, and the school's trophy for the most valuable player of the year.
In the winter, one can usually find Bobby putting on the hurt on the basketball court, and in the spring he will be found behind the plate, daring anyone to come across stand- ing up. Bobby is Master-at-Arms of the Monogram Club.
Bobby hopes to make his home at V.M.I. next year. Be- cause of his high sense of character and leadership, he is sure to go far.
