A.A. Although I was con- fident I would win, I was very surprised I won the first two sets so easily.

A.A. No! That is not true. As a matter of fact I wore my Davis Cup jacket all year long and I still do wear it.

A.A. I don't I just stay calm and composed .

A.A. It didn't bother me at all, it just put more pressure on Connors.

A.A. Yes, that is true, I Was both mentally and physical- ly worn out in the final after playing a 4 hr. semifinal, but I am not using that as an excuse.
