It may come as a surprise to you but there are several faculty members who are going to

Each summer there are two
changes in or around school. There are physical changes such as building modifications, and curriculum and policy changes such as the revision of the
student handbook. The adminis- tration has planned quite a few things for t~is summer. .
'-BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS In the basement of Randolph, there will . be two additional
classrooms; a possibility for a new air circulation system in the
basement; and a new roof. With~ the expansion of the Evan's apartment, there will be one less room in Wyatt. In Ainslie, there will be a new triple room built in the additional storage space. In t.he gym area, the Foyer will be remodeled with new and addi- tional trophy cases (thanks to the Mothers Committee!). There will also be a new athletic office and store. The weight room will be
expanded, and there will be new lights for the basketball court.
CURRICULUM Presently the faculty is fairly
happy with what the school offers. However, there is a general wish to push for better
writing. Mr. Zimmer points out that he "wants to lie slire of ·an
system. In general, a student
must still maintain a B + average
in his Junior or Senior year and
have also maintained this re- carrying through the 12th; an exceed bridge so be will teach Mr. Evane (MAI.S, Dartmouth) quired average in the previous

DEMERIT SYSTEM
As of now, there will be a review of the demerit system,
becauee the demerit system is causing a lot of trouble for both students and faculty. Next year the demerit system may be more palatable.
POLICY
The only new policy being
coneldered u of now will be the Couneelor Orientation. Thla will
enable newly elected couneelore to be trained by thla put yean
