All of you sports fans may think that VES is the greatest when it comes to football, soccer and lacrosse, but you "ain't nuthin' yet" until you see them in
action on the field on Counselor Day. Following are the results
from the 1983 contests:

with 10-4; Sammy Korschun & Ben Keys with 10-2.
The next match with Blue Ridge gave the Bishops a 7-2 victory. Winners were Chris Gardner 6-0, 6-1; Billy Thomas
6-0, 6-0; Ben Keys 4-6, 7-5, 6-1; Sammy Korschun 6-3, 6-1. In doubles, winners were• Chris ' Gardner and Scott Robertson ' with 10-4; Billy Thomas and T. 0. Williams with 10-2; and Sammy Korschun and Ben ·Keys with 10-8.
: The last season match against ·North Cross netted the Bishops a victory of 9-0. Winners were Scott Robertson 6-0, 6-0; Chris Gardner 6-0, 6-0; Billy Thomas

land & Ricky Gayle with 10-1; John Bauknight & Tim Hellewell with 10-2. In this match, several J.V. players competed. Each did a fine job.
The Bishops will be 4th as a 'team in the Prep League Tournament. The Bishops should do well. Looking forward to next year, the Bishops will only be losing one senior, Sammy Kor- schun. If they don't gain Prep · League champs this year, they· will have an excellent chance
