Peter Bondy eagerly awaits the return volley.

The 1991 season was a vast improvement over last year's 1-11 record. Led by co-captains Edmund Knott and Tufty Taylor, the team ended with a 6-7 dual record and a seventh place finish in the Prep League Tournament. Some of the highlights of the season included beating Furk Union twice, the num- ber three doubles team of Dillon Rose and Mears Pitt winning the deciding match against Trinity Episcopal, and a solid team effort defeating Christchurch 7-2, a school that finished ahead of us in the Prep League Tournament. MVP honors went to Brett Eckley who finished with an overall dual record of 8-5, and the recipient of the Spirit and Sportsmanship award was Peter Bondy. With seven of eight lettermen returning, next year looks even more promising.
