Emily Burgoon
“Pirate Cove” School Store Manager
Emily Burgoon began managing the Pirate Cove, formerly the Bookstore, in January
2016. She has been a Pirate parent since 2005, and together with her husband Steven,
has two daughters attending Saint Edward’s School. Emily has been a substitute
teacher at the Lower School for many years. Before starting a family, she taught first
and second grade at Thompson Elementary School in Vero Beach.
Marguerite Chastain
Lower School- PreK Teacher Assistant
A 2008 alumna, Marguerite returns to Saint Edward’s School as a PreK Teacher’s
Assistant. She graduated from Roanoke College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts
degree and has served the School as a substitute teacher and Theater Camp
counselor. Welcome back, Marguerite!
Shawn Conway
Middle School – English Teacher
Shawn comes to us from the University School of Nova Southeastern University (Davie, FL) where
he held the positions of New Teacher Mentor/Teacher Induction, Team Leader, and Teacher.
Shawn received his associate’s degree in English from Broward College, bachelor’s degree in
English from Florida Atlantic University, master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Nova
Southeastern University (Davie), and he is currently working toward his doctorate in Organizational
& Instructional Leadership at the same institution. We are thrilled to have Shawn on board.
Kalyn Geathers
Student Billing Coordinator
Kalyn Geathers joins the SES Staff as Student Billing Coordinator. Prior to joining Saint
Edward’s School she was an accountant at Air Concepts USA. Kalyn holds a Bachelor of
Arts degree with honors in Economics and a minor in Finance from Tuskegee University
in Alabama.
Jolanta Feliciano
Middle/Upper School – Library Media Specialist
Jolanta relocated from Albuquerque, New Mexico where she worked for the past 7 years at
Valley High School as a Library Media Specialist. She brings 20 years of experience as a teacher,
and librarian with a multilingual and multicultural background. She received her bachelor’s and
master’s degrees in Library Science, with a minor in Education from the University of Silesia,
Katowice, Poland, and TESOL endorsement (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other
Languages) from the College of Santa Fe.
