On Friday morning, Xo\·em1Jer 22d, Dr. Jett announced that through the aid of the school subscription, Campbell County had gone "over the top" in her ~ubscriptions.
~[r. E. Nimmo Tucker writes that hi~; military figure and commanding voice are fast making him prominent at Camp Taylor.
On Wednesday evening, November 27th, the Cotillion Club gave a very successful dance. The committee in charge of the fe~tivities acquitted itself finely, its work being thorough m every department. The Gymnasium was beauti- fully de_corate~l, the festooning of the school colors, garnet and wh1te, bemg decoratively set off by a hackgrouud of CYergreens. The Jancing commenced at 9 and continued until 2.

Inspiring music was furnished by Spencer's Orchestra from Lynchun•·g. The chaperons were: :1Irs. Jett, )[iss Schney, and .Miss Gish, from Lynchburg, Va.
