Following our 1 3 - 0 triumph over Charlottesville, we ngain romped off to another victory by the same score, this time defeating Roanoke High School. The game was hotly contested throughout, but only on one occasion did the visit-
ing aggregation approach our goal line, this being during the latter part of the contest. As in the game of the week before, our line was practica1ly unbreakable, always bracing when first down was threatened. The work of the backfield was nlso of high standard. Roanoke offered s~iff opposition all tho way, but the inability of their line to l"!old was largely ncconntable for their failure to make any considerable gains. Our first touchdown came in the second quarter when Loth's
attempted drop kick "'1\"'ent low, and in the scramble for the ball Duke recovered it and rllShed it over the line. We scored again in the final period when Frazier completed a forward pnss from the 15-yard line.
The one regrettable incident of the contest was the injury to Kash, who had been playing a good game at end.
