Bishops Trample Massanutten
\'irginia Episcopal School's once- beaten Bishops continued their vic- tory march hy defeating l\1assanut- ten Military .\cademy. 51 to 23, on the Barksdale Gymnasium court.
The game started off slowly with the Bishops building up a six-point lead in the first quarter. the score being 10-·.J.. Koch opened the game with a field goal and followed it up with a charitv throw. \Villiams fol- lowed with a'goal from the floor.
From then on the Bishops Ill- creased their margm as the game progres::;ed. They led 21-11 at the half. In the last quarter. V. E. S. counted 14 points while the Cadets were held to four markers.

high scorer of the game with 12 points. followed hy Williams with I I points. Captain Robert ~1orrow of ~Ja sanutten led the losers' at- tack with 10 markers.
The Cadets prO\·ed capable hall- handlers and kept the hall in their possession during a greater part of the game. hut their shooting was off.
Tigers led at the first quarter 9-5. From then on the Bishops were held under control. and the Tigers surged ahead, led by Capt. "Hank" \'alentine, whose passing wa::; a major factor in the winning of the game.
Captain ''Rock'' Lee rang up 11 points for the Bishops. "·hile llor- ton wa; high for the Tigers with 12. Williams got 6 for the Bishops.
Graham Roch was a threat to the Tigers, getting rebounds throughout the game from the taller home team.

Playing against a determined team· of Cadets at Fishburne ~Iilitary school, the Bishops lost a close game that \\'ent into t\\'o overtime periods, and ended with
a score of 38-36.
The Bishops found the metal
backboards of the Cadet floor to be extremely liveh·, and missed a good munhe'r of shots.
The Cadets hegan to sink 'em from all over the court, and led at the end of the rll·st quarter, 13-7. But after some hard play- ing. and goals hy Captain Lee and AI \\'illiams, the Bishops came to within one point of the Cadets, as the score stood 15-14 at half-
time.
