half ended with E. H. S. leading 12 to 7.
The last half opened with the Bish- ops starting to roll again. After re- ceiving the kickoff on their own 35, the V. E. S. eleven rocked up four straight first downs, as they marched across the E. H. S. goal line, only to
have their winning touchdown, a Maddux-Whitaker-Ballou combination
product, overruled by the officials. V. E. S. lost possession of the ball when the Maroons intercepted a pass and ran it back to the Bishop 40, set- ting up their third touchdown. On a series of running ploys E. H. S. moved to the one-yard line, and Barkly went into paydirt on a quarterback sneok. The try for point was completed, giv-

Another Joss and three running plays advance the pigskin to the 3 and Perrin Gower plunged through the line for the score. The trv for extra point was

E. H. S. fought back in the first of the second quarter when a passing interference penalty ogainst V. E. S. gave the Maroons the ball on the Bishop 15. The visitors held for four downs and took over on their own 12, but were unable to gain a first down and E. H. S. again took possession of the pigskin, only 21 yards from pay dirt. Two plays later Chris Holland,
Episcopal fullback, found a hole and went off-tackle for 21 yards and a touchdown. The try for point was blocked.
With only a few minutes left be- fore the half, E. H. S. ran a punt back to the Bishop 40 and in four plays the Maroons drove to the V. E. S. 22. Then Holland repeated his first touch- down jaunt when he went through the line for the score. Again the try for extra point was no good, and the
