Neither team was able to march in the final period and the game ended with the ball in the hands of the Maroons after an exchange of punts. E. H. S. tallied 13 first downs and V. E. S. 12 in the nip and tuck battle.
The best run of the day came when Bob Whitaker took a short pass from Tuck Maddux and streaked 80 yards for the Bishops' final touchdown.
The lineup:
The Bishops staged a determined drive in the last quarter_when they took the kickoff on the 40 and drove· to the Saint's 2. Charles· Lewis car-, ried the ball across the goal line, but an offside penalty nullified the ploy.

R.-M. A. Game
A resurgent Garnet and White
eleven, smarting from a stinging de- feat at the hands of E. H. S., bounced back to trample a hard-fighting R.-M. A. eleven 25 to 7 on Johnson Field.
Playing before a large crowd the Garnet and Whites opened up for two tou chdowns in second quarter and one in each of the final two periods, while limiting the visitors to a single touchdown in the third stanza.
After a scoreless first quarter in which both lines held, the Bishops broke the scoring ice in the second period. Perrin Gower started a drive by returning an R.-M. A. punt to the visitors ' 25. Tuck Maddux and Jim Ballou advanced the ball to the 4 and Ballou drove through the line for the score. In the closing minutes of the first half V. E. S. recovered a fumble on the Cadets' 25, and shortly after- wards Fred Ogden snagged a pass from Tom Allen in the end zone, giv- ing the Bishops a 12-0 lead at half time.
V. E. S. kept right on rolling with a march from their own 40 with Ballou climaxing the drive by plunging off tackle from the two-yard line into pay dirt. A short pass from Jim Ballou to Bob Whitaker was good for the extra point.
R.-M. A. fought back for their lone marker in the closing minutes of the third quarter when Dick Rumsey, hard driving Cadet tailback, took a lateral from Ballard and ran 30-yards for the touchdown. Young kicked the extra point, making the score 19-7.

St. Christopher's Game
The V. E. S. Bishops suffered a 25-0 defeat at the hands of a strong St. Christopher's eleven in their last
game of the season on the Saints' field at Richmond.
Already handicapped by injuries, the Bishops lost Captain Jim Ballou in the first few minutes of play when he suffered an injured shoulder; Vic Cornett, hefty center, was hurt in the second quarter and Tom Flamer, first string tackle, was unable to play at all because of an earlier injury.
St. Christopher's jumped to a quick lead in the opening minutes of the game. V. E. S. was unable to gain after taking the kickoff and punted to St. Christopher's on the 50. On the first play the Saints completed a pass to the Bishops 15, and Bill DesPortes broke loose on a line plunge for the first score. Another line buck was successful for the point, putting St. Christopher's out in front, 7 to 0. A 70-yard run by DesPortes put the pigskin on the V. E. S. II and set up the Saint's second tally . In two ploys th e home team made it a first down on the Bishop I, and on the second down Andrews went through the line for six points. The half ended with St. Christopher's ahead 13 to 0.
The Saints drove for another touchdown in the third quarter when V. E. S. was forced to punt from its own goal to the 30. After they had moved to the 20, Holland skirted in for the score. St. Chris- topher's topped off its attack with another touchdown in the final pe-
riod when the Bishops fumbled on their own I I and Johnson went around right end into pay-dirt.
