Sa far this season the Bishops have played six games and won one. They seem to start out in cJ game with a bang but after the first quarter there is a let down which usually results in the loss of the game. The game against St. Christopher's was definit- ely in the Bishops favor but in ~~e last moments of play St. Christopher's jumped into the winning lead.
Here are the scoring and other stdistics for the Bishops so far this season:

Rotary Club Awards
One night, not long ago, Lawson W. Turner, Jr., from the Rotury Club of Lynchburg came, as a gue:;t of V. E. S., and ate s:.~pper with us. After prayers, he got up and made a little s;~eech.
In the speech, he said thut he, and c e r t a i n membe~s o f hi s c lu b ha::J picked from the city-1eague teams, two teams from each weight-class, and from each class, they selected one boy who represented the ideals of gcod sportsmanship. On December 27, the Rotary Club held a banquet. The banquet was for all the boys they had named for their teams. V. E. S. was on vacation and the boys men- tioned could not attend, therefore he had come out here to make the awards.
In the 120 lb. class, V. E. S. was predominant. S Ia t s Braxton, Bill Stephenson, Jack Pancoast, and Dick Carrington made the grade. The highest honor of the 135 lb. team went to Army Wellford who was the boy who represented most of the ideals of a good sportsman. During profuse clapping, the boys went up
