Coolie! "
Favorite Pastime: Practicing to be

Frank was born in a remote town
in North Carolina by the name of New Bern. However, he soon turned traitor and moved to Philadelphia. His nicknames have been many and varied; along with his more or less permanent "King", last year he was Frank and this year you can get his attention with ' Bouy' .
In Frank's two years here, he has made himself liked by boys and mas- ters alike. He ranks among the bighest in his class when it comes to grades. In athletics he lettered in J. V. bas- ketball, football, and baseball last year, thus making himself a charter member of the J. V. Club. Along with this, he is a reporter and circu- lation manager for the Meteor. Frank was also a waiter. It will be a sad moment when he leaves us for U. N. C. next year.

Pastime:
Frank, who hails from the city of Paradise (Raleigh), has stuck it out here at V. E. S. for three years now. His pleasant personality and willing- ness to work have made him one of
the most well-liked boys in school. As far as athletic abilities go, he has made his J. V. letter in football and basketball and will surely take one of the starting positions on the bas- ketball team this year. Last spring he made the track team and gained some valuable experience which will probably enable him to letter this yeM.
Frank is a conscientious worker, who consistently averages in the 90's. Along with this he is editor-in-chief of the Meteor and a member of the
Hop Committee. At the first of the year he was made a counselor and has proved himself very capable in the position.
Next fall he plans to enter U. N. C. or Davidson. We know he will be a success and wish him all the luck in the world.
