SPRING, UNCOUTH READER, IS HERE
Ah, spring is here once more! Of all the seasons, the one most liked around the Ole 160 is the one char- acterized by softball out behind the school, tennis on the new courts, or other outdoor sports on the Front Campus.
Any casual passer-by during this hectic season is likely to see many strange and varied scenes, from Camden being tied to a telephone pole in preparation for burning at the stake, to the whole student body, having d o nn e d Bermudas en masse, stretched out taking sun baths.
Sir Tim
One notable aspect of spring is the effect it has on the restlessness of the boys, who migrate to the out- doors as much os possible. After lunch and supper ond during recesses boys are found all over the campus outside. Thus, hoting to be cooped up, they sometimes make it a little hord on the master keeping study hall, but after oil, they're only playful boys. Still, they're dealt with accord- ingly.
The s e a s o n o f f e c t s all kinds o f creatures. One notices a sharp in- creose in the number of attempts to ring the bell. One master even caught so many people ot this that he was able to buy o new car. Think of that!
Spring def;nitely gets in your blood. The thought of going home, of getting out with a whole summer ahead of you in which to pursue your respective pastimes (we will not list them here) seems to put every- one in truly high spirits. This is espe- ciolly true during the Senior Banquet and Finals Weekend.

Spring hos sprung,
