The Bishops scored one touchdown a quarter as they downed Bedford 26-2 in a contest on Johnson Field. After recovering a Bedford fumble on its 27-yard line, V. E. Bedford, after receiving the kick- off, started to move. Led by the passing of Ted Greer, they worked their way down to the Bishop's 15.

The only score in the third quarter came when Cliff Shepard threw a Roanoke halfback for a five-yard loss behind their goal line resulting in a touchback and two points for V. E. S.
Jefferson put on a terrific goal line stand on their own one-foot line in the fourth quarter and took over, but six plays later Shepard recovered a fumble, his third of the game, and a spot pass to Nash found the Jr. Bishops with a first down and inches from the goal line. With 58 seconds in the game Jenkins carried for the winning score and Hutter carried for his second extra point. The final score found the Junior Bishops on top

The Bishops then began an almost successful march with Penn Joslyn crashing up the middle, behind the blocking of Nelson Showalter and Skellie Hunt.
The second quarter O'Bannon pick- ed up a timely block and cut back over the middle for a forty-five-yard T.D. On this play, V. E. S.'s sharp quarterback, Johnny Kramer, was hurt and things began to look dim.
Hope was shattered again as Worthington intercepted a pass and dashed fifty-two yards to bring the score to a one-sided 21-0, even though the Bishops had pushed the Tigers around in the middle of the field.
In the fourth quarter, after both teams fought back and forth, Ralph Nash punted to the Woodberry thir- ty-yard line and capitalizing on mis-
